“It was sometime during the summer of 2022 when Jan, Patrick and producer Koenraad got together at Studio Jupiter, in Tongeren (BE), to record the first demos for the new album. Koenraad played some random drum sample and Patrick started grooving with his catchy bass riff. During the following rehearsals, we tried to build a song around that idea but eventually, we stripped it down to the basic riff again. We decided to just let it groove. With a pumping harmonica, some funky cowbells and a dirty guitar. A few weeks later, Jan wrote the lyrics during a bus ride and that’s how the rough idea developed into a kind of dance song with a ZZ Top vibe.”
